Just an Ordinary Tuesday Night....

This Tuesday was Bomb.com! Not only did I get a package from the Ogles but... I went out to eat with the Domingui and other friends! We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and ate a lot, laughed a lot and had a lot of FUN! I love having them here so I can play with them and their friends!! :) 

See its real! We go to school together!! :D 

Also another story that many will be surprised to hear... but about an hour before going to eat with them I DYED MY HAIR!!!!

USPS Kansas!!

The Ogles sent Lauren and I a package!! It was so great coming home from classes and seeing this beauty on my bed! :)

There was a ton of stuff in it! Including: clothes, jewelry, lotion. toothpaste, a razor, shoes, candy, and (my personal favorite) drawings from Preston and Oaklie!!!

Scripture of the Month!!

This scripture I stumbled upon a few weeks ago in my reading for my Doctrine and Covenants class and fell in love... and then today in sacrament meeting I stumbled over it again! It is such a good scripture and I fell in love with it TWICE!! so.... I think I should share it with you all! :) ENJOY

D&C 11: 11-14

Funny #1

So yesterday we were taking a heath care survey and I get ready and start making calls... I wasn't getting anyone to take my survey! It was really frustrating and I was starting to get really discouraged until I talked to this special man... :) He answered the phone and I gave him the intro. telling him I was calling from Opinionology... He replies and says, "Is this TRUDY!?"... I  was so surprised and it took me awhile to respond but I finally say, "No my name is Spencer and I am calling from Opinionolgy." he replies, "Trudy why don't you ever call me anymore!? I have really been missing you!"... I am currently laughing silently... and I say, "Sir I would like to ask you a few questions." (I was desperate... I really needed a survey done.) and all he says is, "I have been craving my Trudy time." and that was it I burst into laughter I couldn't hold it in any more!! So I quickly said, "Thanks for your time sir have a great day!"


and thats it...  Today I didn't work that much so I only got 3 surveys total and I was able to leave. So nothing funny happened to me but.... Sam on the other hand... ha ha ha

Funny #2

So Sam was doing a different survey than me but she calls this man and she gives him the intro and he said he was busy working but asked her where we were located. Sam says, "We are in Idaho!" and He replies and says, "You should take the next flight to the Austin area and try doing my job! and then Ill take your survey!" she says, " Oh sir I'm really sorry I understand." Then he says, "Don't be sorry, I'm just trying to show you how hard it is. Now go grow some potatoes and God bless!"

Haha I absolutely love how everyone automatically connects Idaho with potatoes... We are the best potato growers ever!!

Ok well those are the funny stories from the past two days! NOW GO GROW SOME POTATOES AND GOD BLESS!! Love you all!

Phone Funnies #4

Sooo I had work from 5-10pm last night... it was awesome... (sarcasm) However I did get a few funny stories out of it! I don't know why these things happen to me but it really does make work a lot more interesting!

Funny #1

I call a number... they answer and  I give them the intro... (silence)... "Hello?" I say... next all I hear is a HUGE inhale and then.... THEY BLOW INTO THE PHONE FOR AT LEAST 30 seconds! and of course I burst into laughter !!

Funny #2

I was calling people in Arkansas around 8 'o'clock their time.. and a lady answers the phone and I give her the intro.... she interrupts me and says, "Okay Miss, You do know that it is illegal in Arkansas to make these calls after 8pm?" I hurried and responded that I had no idea and that I was sorry... before I could finish she had already hung up. Laughing to myself I went over to Steve and asked him if what she said was true or if the lady was making it up. Turns out she was, in fact, making it up! Haha oh the excuses people make up just to get out of a survey :)

Funny #3

Ok I have one more! This one is a little scary but I thought it was funny...

So I call this man, in Colorado this time, and he answers and I read the intro. He accepts and is more than happy to continue and we start taking the survey. Then in the middle of one of my questions he says, "Wait! Hold on! Where are you calling from and how did you get my number!?" and told him who I was calling on behalf of and he says, "Well I am gonna turn you in!" and hangs up... again I start laughing soooo hard and share the story with the people around me and all of us in the area are laughing hysterically.

So those are my funny stories that helped me get through my 5 hour late shift! I hope you think they are funny too... ok thats all.... Love ya bye!!

Opinionology

Dear Everyone.... I GOT A JOB!!!

It may be weird but I actually like this job...  I am real good at it! I think I get it from my Dad. :)

So I have worked there a total of  3 full days and every day I have had something funny happen to me so I have decided to make it into a blog post :) 

Day 1:

(please remember this was only my second day on the phones)

So I start taking a survey from this lady... and in the middle of one of the questions 

I ask her I hear snoring really loud through the phone.....  and I say "Ma'am? are you still there?" and a few seconds later she wakes up and says "Oh! yep I'm here! Can you repeat the question!?"  holding back laughs I repeat the question. Throughout this one survey this happens a total of 3 times! I was laughing silently through the entire thing! 

Day 2:

Today I was on a roll getting survey after survey! I was in the zone!! and in the middle of one of my surveys I hear people yelling my name... Of course I don't respond because I am on the phone. But I start to worry that I am in trouble or I messed up a survey or something. But then Jordan, one of the monitors, and Cory, front desk man, come over to me and I hear Cory say "Good job Spencer keep up the good work." And I look over at Sam who is working two seats over from me and she is talking to Jordan and she says, "Yeah the one in the pink sweatshirt is Spencer." haha So apparently Jordan was monitoring my calls and he saw a boy's name and heard a girl's voice and he thought I was signed in under someone else employee number. :) 

Day 3: 

(this was today)

Today I was on a survey with a very nice lady with a southern accent and in the middle of me asking a questions she blurts out, "Umm excuse me ma'am! Excuse me but I have a question... are you a Christian!?" and while holding back laughs I say, "I'm sorry ma'am but I'm not allowed to answer that because it may cause some bias in the way you answer the rest of the questions..." and then she replies, " OH! okay!" we continue the survey and we finish it. I thank her for taking the survey and for her time and she says, " Oh you are very welcome! And ma'am if you are not a Christian I sure hope one day you will be!?"  haha I was laughing so hard that it was completely silent and I was able to squeeze out a " Thank you and I hope you have a great day!"

Haha Oh how I love people!! 

Happy Valentines Day!!!

This is really really late but.... HAPPY VALENTINES DAY FAMILY!! haha so here is my story... :)

On Valentines Day I completely forgot it was valentines day probably because of the lack of Mom singing and decorating and dancing and so on.... but..... I wake up  and go to my classes and then after my classes I have a doctors appointment that Lauren is going to take me to. I call her because I got out of my last class early and I was going to go home to get my wallet and purse before we go. She says... "Uh Spencer I got out of my class early too! Where are you!?" and I say, "I'm about to walk into my apartment..." and she responds  with a.." Uhhhhh ugh ok.."  haha I was sooo confused why she was so concerned with me being at home but I new as soon as a walked in! This is what I saw!!
